Justin Osborn

Justin Osborn is a founding member of OGBB, whose personal advocacy for fairness and progressive social policies led to the firm’s mobile services program. A former insurance adjuster and insurance defense lawyer, Justin now represents clients against the same corporate and insurance interests he once defended. Whether as a trial lawyer, estate counselor, or advocate, Justin has rededicated his career to making legal services more equitable and universally accessible for those in the community.

Justin is a proud tribal citizen of the Cherokee Nation and was one of the first in his family to obtain a college degree. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Oklahoma and the University of Virginia School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in North Carolina and South Carolina. When he’s free, Justin enjoys BBQing, woodworking, renovating his family’s 1940s home, and trying to keep up with his wife Andrea and their young daughter.

Matt Gambale

Lawyer | Partner

Matt Gambale is a founding member of OGBB and leads the firm’s practice in criminal defense and insurance disputes. His father Vincent was an Assistant United States Attorney, who inspired and encouraged Matt to become a lawyer. Matt has represented clients in state and federal trial courts, the North Carolina Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of North Carolina, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. In 2019, Matt was named a Rising Star by North Carolina Super Lawyers® Magazine.  

Matt grew up in Alexandria, Virginia and was an Echols Scholar at the University of Virginia where he earned a B.A. in History with Distinction. He returned to earn his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. Matt is licensed in North Carolina. In his free time Matt enjoys running. As an undergraduate Matt was a varsity distance runner, and competed in both ACC and IC4A Championship finals.

Seth Beckley

Lawyer | Partner

Seth Beckley is a founding member of OGBB and, along with Justin, leads the firm’s personal injury and wills, trusts, and probate practice. As a former insurance defense lawyer, Seth has experience investigating racing, car, and commercial trucking accidents and now fights on behalf of clients injured in those incidents. He has litigated matters in state and federal court, in FINRA and AAA arbitration, and before the North Carolina Court of Appeals.

Born and raised in Clemson, South Carolina, Seth graduated from the Calhoun Honors College at Clemson University and the University of Virginia School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in North Carolina. An avid football fan, Seth coached at his local high school while attending Clemson. When there isn’t a game on, Seth and his wife Amanda enjoy traveling and trying to keep up with their dog, Chewie.

Joe Budd

Lawyer | Partner

Joe Budd is a founding member of OGBB and leads the firm’s workers’ compensation practice. Joe uses his experience as a former insurance defense and workers’ comp defense lawyer to help clients who are injured on the job. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Joe was a staff member with the United States House Committee on Ways and Means in Washington, DC.

Originally from Fairfield County, Connecticut, Joe graduated from Wheaton College, Illinois with degrees in History and Economics and the University of Virginia School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in North Carolina. Joe recently celebrated his tenth wedding anniversary with his wife Emily and, together, they have three children. He is in a life-long love/hate relationship with the New York Mets and enjoys board games, science fiction, and history in his spare time.
