Basic Traffic Ticket Defense
Basic traffic tickets include charges like speeding less than 10 mph over the posted speed limit, seatbelt violations, expired registrations In some cases, we can defend more serious charges for this amount if your driving record is good enough to seek a reduction.
Serious Traffic Ticket Defense
$250 up to $1,000
Serious traffic tickets include charges like speeding more than 10 mph over the posted speed limit, reckless driving, failure to stop for a school bus, speeding in a school or construction zone, and non-moving violations like driving while license revoked where jail time is a possibility. Serious traffic tickets also include minor charges that, because of a bad driving record, could result in your license being suspended or revoked or jail time.
DUI/DWI Pre-Trial Defense
A pre-trial defense for a DUI/DWI charge includes interview of the arresting officer and witnesses, review of video evidence and lab reports, pre-trial court appearances, discovery motions, argument and paperwork for a limited driving privilege (if you are eligible and choose to pursue one), plea negotiation with the assistant district attorney and, if you decide to enter a plea, we argue for your interests during sentencing.
DUI/DWI Trial Defense
If you decide to go to trial on a DUI/DWI, a separate fee is required because of the additional time and work involved. Keep in mind most cases never go to trial, and we will consult with you about the risks and potential benefits as part of your pre-trial process so you can decide what is right for you. Our services for trial include evidentiary motions such as motions to suppress that are made at the beginning of trial, direct and cross examination of witnesses, oral arguments and presentations to the court, post-trial motions, and representation during sentencing if you are convicted.
DUI/DWI Appeal to Superior Court
If you decide to appeal a conviction for DUI/DWI to get a new trial before a jury in Superior Court, we charge an additional trial fee of $3,000.00.
$1,000 up to $3,000
If you are eligible for a hearing in the DMV to have your license reinstated after suspension or revocation, we can represent you throughout the process. Our range of fees for these services depends on your particular circumstances and driving record.
Why we disclose our prices
We believe every part of this process — including our prices — should be open and transparent. It’s not a popular approach (most law firms don’t do it) and maybe some will consider it impolite, but we believe we can better help and serve your needs by establishing trust long before we even start on your case. If you have questions about our prices, please contact us.
Forms of payment accepted
We accept cash, checks, money orders, and credit cards. For your convenience, you can pay in person, by mail, or online. We also may be able to accept other forms of electronic payment (Venmo, PayPal, etc), which we can address in your individual case if you’re interested.
